What is a Benevolence Fund?

Members of our churches financially support a fund to provide emergency financial assistance to members and neighbors who find themselves in temporary crisis.  We do this in response to the biblical charge to “carry one another’s burdens”.  As such, priority is given to members of the Sudlersville charge in need, but consideration will also be given to regular attenders and members of other churches. Assistance is provided, according to our guidelines, as funds are available to people living near our churches in northern Queen Anne County.
