Home again, home again
I'm home for a couple days before I go out again, and boy is it good to be home, even to walk in to real life. The problems of the house and life were right here waiting for me. But still, even if you travel just for a couple of days, it's good to be home. This is true even if the heat doesn't work and the showers are cold. I'd rather be at home with those I love and who love me than anywhere else. Love is amazing in that it really has the power to overcome our circumstances like nothing else.
Love is what makes our relationship with Jesus so special. To be loved in such a way that someone would give everything up for me, and not just me, but also my wife and children. I'm going to give my life for that Him. He has earned my commitment. He has earned my devotion. It says in scripture that we love him because he loved us first; our of love, he offers love without any prerequisites or expectations. Jesus is the easiest person to love.
Jesus makes it really easy to come home.
